EDGERTON, Kan. –ElevateEdgerton! recently celebrated another extraordinary year at their annual meeting.
During the business meeting, the ElevateEdgerton! 2022 Investor of the Year was named. Carol Lehman, former board member and Johnson County Community College liaison, took home the prize for her dedication to ElevateEdgerton! Lehman has been involved with the organization since its inception in 2017.
President James Oltman also highlighted some of the major successes Edgerton has seen in 2022, including:
- Simmons Pet Food announced plans for a new 750,000 sq. ft. distribution facility at LPKC;
- On the Go travel center is expanding and adding space for two additional quick serve restaurants;
- Rausch Coleman plans to build a 275 single family home development; and
- EE! contributed the largest amount of financial donations to Edgerton community groups/events since its formation in 2017
